These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Sharivari Scorer software ("the Service") provided by the operator named in the Imprint.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to all use of the Service via the web interface, the Android tablet APK, and the OBS browser-source overlays. By accessing the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Service description
The Service is a multi-table pool/billiards scoring system. It provides a dashboard for room and match administration, scoring surfaces for 8-Ball, 9-Ball, 10-Ball and Straight Pool (14.1), live OBS overlays, and match-history exports. The Service is provided as-is for use within pool clubs and tournaments.
3. User accounts
The Service uses two roles: admin (full control) and scorer (score entry only). Access credentials are issued by the operator. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to (a) interfere with the operation of the Service, (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to areas not assigned to your role, (c) use the Service to store or transmit unlawful or infringing content, or (d) reverse-engineer the software except as permitted by mandatory law.
5. Content and data
Match data (player names, scores, timestamps, room configuration) is stored by the Service for the purpose of operating it. Players are typically identified by their public names as used within the club. The operator may archive completed matches and provide PDF / CSV exports to the responsible admin.
6. Availability
The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. No specific uptime is guaranteed. Maintenance windows, updates, and unforeseen outages may temporarily affect availability. The operator may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Mandatory statutory liability (e.g. for personal injury or under the German Product Liability Act) remains unaffected.
8. Final provisions
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If a provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The operator may update these Terms; the current version is always available at this URL.
